SharePoint / Knowledge Management Consultant

Location: Fairfax, VA Onsite

Candidate will provide SharePoint System Administration for a large-scale program in the Defense Health Agency. The candidate will provide SharePoint development/Knowledge Management support to SharePoint sites, and develop content, workflows, and processes in support of the Defense Health Agency’s Strategic Management Division.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide SharePoint system administration, adding content, workflows, and processes and creating links to other DHA systems

  • Develop and manage knowledge base infrastructure and content

  • Provide Tiers 1 & 2 support for SharePoint concerns

  • Implement workflows and recommend improvements to Knowledge Management system

  • Develop, document, and maintain Knowledge Management Policies and Procedures

  • Provide methodologies, tools, and expertise to identify business processes and systems that may be automated, standardized, and/or integrated to achieve efficiencies

  • Develop Business Intelligence dashboards and build applications using CSOM, JavaScript, JQuery and other client-side SharePoint development methodologies

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in knowledge management practices that enable an integrated data centered approach to identifying, retrieving, evaluating, and sharing the enterprise’s tacit and explicit knowledge assets to meet mission objectives.

  • Experience in SharePoint development for the Strategic Performance Improvement Data

  • Repository (SPIDR), supporting SharePoint and KM for CPI/LSS programs, or experience as a CPI/LSS practitioner is preferred.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Occasional travel to Military Treatment Facilities as required.

Salary Range- 140,000 To 175,000 Per Year
